SecureNet: A Josh-Friendly Workplace

This is one of our main Joshes, he did not like being in this photo.

Pictured: An embarrassingly old photo of our Chief Josh. He did not want this photo taken. He is also the head of marketing, and wrote all of this. Begrudgingly.

At SecureNet, 33.3% of our staff are named Josh. That’s not a joke. It’s math.

One out of every three people here is a Josh. We didn’t plan it that way. It just happened. Naturally. Like fiber optics or moss.

We’re not saying you have to be named Josh to work here. But it wouldn’t hurt.

Perks of being a Josh at SecureNet:

  • You’ll never mishear your name in a meeting
  • Built-in support network of fellow Joshes
  • Great odds of winning “Guess Which Josh Said That”
  • Automatically part of the Josh Teams channel
  • Occasional “Josh Check-Ins” to monitor morale and hydration

The Josh Ratio

Currently, our Josh-to-employee ratio sits at a healthy 1:3. That’s one Josh for every three team members, which is far above the national average. Whether that’s causation or correlation is still up for further review. But what’s clear is this: SecureNet is fertile ground for Joshes to thrive. And possibly multiply via Joshmosis. We’ll go into that in another blog post.

We’re proud to offer a Josh-positive environment. All names are welcome. But some names are more common around here than others.

Are local internet companies naturally attractive to Joshes, or are Joshes predisposed to seek out the closest fiber-optic ecosystems?

Preliminary data from SecureNet suggests a statistically significant correlation between high-speed infrastructure and Josh density. Further study is ongoing.

SecureNet. Fast internet. Lots of Joshes.

Also, I forgot to mention that we are now hiring, visit our careers page for more information.
